About Me

My name is Kim Hardin, and I am a designer of children’s products located outside of Boston, Massachusetts. I started my career as a toy designer working on well known girls brands. After having my four kids, I realized my new perspective as a parent gave me valuable insight as a designer for children's products. I loved to see my daughters in beautiful dresses when they were crawling and learning to walk.  At that age, they were always on the move - crawling, pulling up on things, and practicing their new steps. However, their pretty dresses would always get in the way and cause them to trip, fall, or slip. I wanted to invent a dress they could wear that did not inhibit crawling, climbing, or standing. The solution also needed to be comfortable for the child and easy for the caregiver.
